It's the Final Countdown (almost!)

Just over a week until the 1st op. The last gig has been done (last Friday - had a banging night at a private 60th party) and usually tonight (Monday) we'd be rehearsing but Russ had plans so that buggered that up! We're having our final pre op rehearsal next Monday - it'll be a couple of weeks until I can play drums again (Doctors orders) so hopefully playing last minute will ease the itch/bouncy leg thing that happens after not playing for a while.

I'm kinda looking forward to the op - just to get it over and done with. What will happen during the operation? I have no idea. Deliberately, I haven't looked into it. Looking at pics of things like that isn't my thing and would just start me worrying over what will hopefully be a straightforward surgery (or 3). I know there will be some time off work but I am hoping that will be minimal - just sitting around is not my style, there are always things to do on the IronTree and Propeller websites, need to prepare for Kimstock 2 and a few other projects and ideas that need things doing that time always seems to stop me doing. Ooh - and there is this blog to update. Might just be a page full of "ouch ouch" lol
